  • You’ll want to hold the POD 1" or less from the face. Absolutely! The closer to the skin the better.

  • The POD has 33 LEDs and is great for spot treating the face and body.

  • Anything placed on the skin has the potential to act as a barrier to light energy absorption, especially if it is oily, shiny, opaque or contains anything that could reflect light, for example, mineral based products or sunblock. For these reasons, and because there is no known credible scientific evidence to prove otherwise, we recommend clean, dry, bare skin when using Celluma. To date scientific studies has shown that only invasive techniques are effective at delivering product deep into the tissue as the skin acts as a powerful and effective barrier.However, having said that, if you are using a favourite product or serum and are convinced you are seeing enhanced results then there is no need to change your protocol.

  • Yes! Animals respond well to Celluma, and both Veterinarians and Certified Animal Chiropractors are using Celluma successfully to treat a variety of conditions. Unlike human use, where the FDA imposes restrictions, Celluma can be used on animals without restrictions.

  • No, the 3 treatment modes on the POD are acne, ageing skin, and pain. The only Celluma device with a program FDA-cleared to treat hair loss is the RESTORE.
